Sometimes when we want to snack on , its the usual fried stuff that we think of chips, chocolates, bondas ...etc. So why not try something that is healthy and not so calorie laden snack. This is something , I love to make when my son's friends come home. You can be quite creative by keeping some carrots and cucumber with the chips.Children will love eating them . Leftover hummus can be stored in the fridge for a day or two and can be used on toast as well. The options are endless upto where our creativity ends. Try it today for a healthy evening snack or for a child's school snack.
4 Pita Pockets whole wheat, ready made
Olive oil for brushing
Makes one cup
3/4th cup Chickpeas, soaked overnight and boiled with salt or canned
2 cloves Garlic
1/4th cup Olive Oil
1 tablespoon Sesame Seeds, roasted
Coriander Leaves for garnishing
Salt to taste

Note : There is no need to add water , but a little olive oil added during the time of grinding will help.
